This lot comprises 26 individual British silver shillings, featuring the effigies of King George V and King George VI. The obverse of these coins displays a left-facing profile of the respective monarch, with visible legends including « GEORGIVS V D G BRITT OMN REX F D IND IMP » (George V, by the Grace of God, King of all Britons, Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India) and « GEORGIVS VI D G BR OMN REX » (George VI, by the Grace of God, King of all Britons). The reverse design uniformly depicts a crowned lion standing atop a crown, with the denomination « ONE SHILLING » and the date below. Visible dates range from the 1920s to the 1940s.
